In April I will be experimenting with oil pastels, collage and different sized paper. I will go LARGE. These are currently in my studio.

Be brave.

This is happening.

I was invited to take part in a exciting group exhibition in the lovely Gallery PAXTON+GLEW in Brightons bustling South Lane. Head to their website for full line up. I have 6 new original pieces and 3 limited edition prints available to purchase through the Gallery.

I start with a colour.

“Do stuff. be clenched, curious. Not waiting for inspiration's shove or society's kiss on your forehead. Pay attention. It's all about paying attention. Attention is vitality. It connects you with others. It makes you eager. Stay eager.”
Susan Sontag

My artwork is focused on expressing emotions & ideas through my carefully considered colour palette. Colours always come first when starting a new piece. Its the driving force. At the moment, human portraits, still life or large, over sized cats are my main subjects. I am slowly mapping out my storytelling by creating a narrative.

I am curious by nature. I am diving in.
